we are very happy to be serving at First UMC of Apopka and following the path that God has placed before us.

Kelly Baloun is the Director of Children’s Ministries. She is very energetic, and the young children love her and her volunteers.

Joan Forbes is our wonderful church organist and plays for each of our Sunday services. Besides playing the organ, she has other amazing musical talents including playing the piano and singing. She also plays and/or sings during our additional services on special occasions such as Christmas or Easter. She has a peaceful and comforting style

Joyce is in charge of seeing that no one falls through the cracks. Have a prayer concern? She will get it to her whole network of prayer partners, members of the congregation who will remember your concerns throughout the day. She shows support in medical troubles and caring in times of stress

Mark Looney is our Director of Music. He is exceptionally talented with expertise in many areas of music. He is an amazing pianist, leads our choir in beautiful and well-chosen anthems, and directs our congregation as we sing a variety of well-loved hymns in the weekly worship services.

Finance Secretary Nikki is our church finance secretary, keeping all of our money matters organized and handled in a timely and efficient manner. She is also working with Tiny Tots handling all money matters.

Viola, is a devoted nursery worker. She works faithfully week after week to lead, teach, and guide our children to know the love of Jesus. Through Bible stories, songs, activities, and an abundance of love and understanding, the workers plant the seeds in the hearts of the children to grow into future disciples of Jesus Christ.
